This is a typical case of "angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL)" with classic clinical presentations, morphology and immunophenotype. The lymph node shows architectural effacement with proliferation of arborizing vessels. Frequent atypical cells are present, which are medium to large in size and have irregular nuclear contours and moderate to abundant clear cytoplasm. Immunostains demonstrate expanded and distorted follicular dendritic meshwork and abundant CD4+ atypical T-cells. EBER is positive in scattered cells.

A bone marrow biopsy showed extensive involvement by lymphoma cells (HP-297).
