Clinical Information

 

A 54-year-old female had a pancreatic mass.

Gross Description

 

 The pancreatic mass measured 8.0 5.0 7.0 cm and the section surface was multicystic, ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 cm. The cysts were filled with clear fluid and the cystic wall was smooth, measured up to 0.3 cm in thickness. No solid masses and areas of hemorrhage or necrosis were identified. The remaining pancreatic parenchyma were unremarkable.
