CLINICAL INFORMATION

  A 55-year-old male had a soft tissue mass of left arm.

GROSS DESCRIPTION

 

The specimen consists of one segment of muscle measuring 4.5 x 4.2 x 2.2 cm. On serial sectioning an oval encapsulated mass is present within the center of the muscle tissue measuring approximately 1.9 x 1.7 x 1.4 cm and is well encapsulated. The cut surface of the mass is yellow, granular and homogeneous.
