CLINICAL INFORMATION

Image Studies: A  large  heterogeneous  mass is noted in the  left adrenal  gland  with  mass  effect  upon  the  upper  pole  of  the  left  kidney
and  adjacent  spleen.  There  is  irregularity  along  the  cortex  of  the kidney  and  the  splenic  capsule  suggest  possible  invasion  of  the  mass into  the  kidney  and  the  spleen.  The  left  adrenal  mass  measuring  5.4  x 4.9  x  6.9  cm  in  AP,  transverse,  and  craniocaudal  dimensions.  The  mass  is hyperintense  on  T1  weighted  images  and  low  or  isointense  on  T2-weighted images  with  central  necrosis.
