Verruca vulgaris

   
 
  • Common wart, mostly single or in groups on the dorsal surface of the fingers and hands;

  • Circumscribed, firm, elevated papules with papillomatous/verrusous surfaces;

  • HPV-1, 2, 4, 7, and 49;

  • Histopathology: Hyperkeratosis, acanthosis, papillomatosis; Elongated rete ridges, bent inward at both margins, radically point to the center; Vacuolated cells/koilocytotic cells, vertical tiers of parakeratotic cels, and foci of clumped keratohyaline granules.
