Squamous Cell Carcinoma In Situ

 
  • Also called Bowen's disease;

  • Gross: typically sharply marginated, erythematous, scaly or verrucous plague with variable pigmentation;

  • Histology: often prominent acanthosis with variable hyperkeratosis and parakeratosis; full-thickness loss of maturation with marked atypia.
