Plasma Cell Leukemia

• Criteria: neoplastic plasma cells > 20% of total leukocytes, or absolute count > 2 × 10⁹/L

• Patients are younger, compared with patients with classic plasma cell myeloma

• Significantly more common lymphadenopathy, organomegaly, and renal failure

• Less common lytic bone lesion and bone pain

• Most cases lack CD56 expression

• More aggressive clinical behaviors
