DLBCL in the bone
marrow may mimic acute leukemia occasionally. However, on the
aspirate smear, the DLBCL cells tend to have more polymorphism and
less open chromatin, compared with myeloblasts. Another hint is
that frequent lymphoglandular bodies are present in the
background, as seen in this case.
