Minimally invasive follicular carcinoma, confined to thyroid

• It is almost impossible to make this diagnosis on frozen, cytology or FNA sections.
• Diagnosis: not by morphology of the tumor, but behavior: Capsule or vascular invasion. Thus the entire tumor including the capsule should be submitted to look for invasion.
