| 65 year-old male, left hilar mass of lung. | ||
| Gross Description | ||
| The specimen consists of one lobectomy measuring 18.0 x 13.0 x 5.0 cm. The bronchial margin is submitted for frozen section. The pleural surface is smooth with focal retraction. The surface of the margin is inked black. Sectioning through the specimen reveals one well demarcated peribronchial mass measuring 4.0 x 3.0 cm. The cut surface of the tumor is pale tan with focal areas of necrosis. | ||
