RIGHT UPPER LOBE OF LUNG, LOBECTOMY: - Poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. - Maximal dimension of mass is 3.0 cm in diameter. - Twelve regional lymph nodes negative for metastatic malignancy. - Bronchial surgical margin and pleural margin negative for malignancy. - No vascular permeation is identified. - Pathologic stage: pT1, N0, MX. Immunostains of TTF-1, CK 5/6, CK7, CK20 and CDX-2 were performed in formalin fixed paraffin embedded block B4. The malignancy is positive for CK5/6, but negative for CK7, TTF-1,CK20 and CDX-2. This immuno profile of this malignanncy is not diagnostic for lung primary. Clinical correlation is suggested. |
