| CLINICAL INFORMATION | ||
| 40 year-old male. Multiple subcutaneous nodules of the chest and abdomen. | ||
| GROSS DESCRIPTION | ||
| The specimen consists of one resected skin ellipse with subcutaneous fat tissue measuring 20.0 x 14.0 x 2.5 cm and the skin ellipse measures 16.0 x 12.5 cm. The specimen is oriented with long suture = lateral, short suture = superior. The superior portion is inked blue and the interior inked in red. The deep margin is inked in black. Sectioning through the specimen reveals multiple subcutaneous nodules (largest measuring 3.0 x 2.0 cm). The cut surface of the nodules are gray-tan and well circumscribed. The tumor is within 0.2 cm from the deep margin. | ||
