Surgical Pathology Case



62 year old male who presented with increasing shortness of breath above his baseline. CT of the chest was done for possible pulmonary embolism which showed a large right upper lobe mass concerning for bronchogenic carcinoma, mediastinal Lymph nodes with possible right lower lobe satellite lesion, emphysema, pleural thickening, and left apical paramediastinal radiation change, but no pulmonary embolism.  The mass in the right upper lobe measured 4.5 x 4.2 cm.
