CLINICAL INFORMATION

  A 54-year-old female with a long history of polycythemia presented with left flank pain and hematuria. Radiograph showed a 2.5 cm mass in the kidney.

GROSS DESCRIPTION

 

The resected specimen consisted of a well-circumscribed pale gray, slightly soft mass with focal cystic formation and focal calcification.
