CLINICAL INFORMATION

  28-year-old male. Right upper abdominal pain and weight loss. A large echogenic mass noted by ultrasound in the right lobe of the liver. AFP and HCG in normal range.

GROSS DESCRIPTION

 

The lobectomy specimen revealed a 12.0  11.5  7.5 cm firm, tan-green, nodular tumor that bulged above the surrounding normal liver tissue with a stellate, depressed, grey center.
