| 65-year-old female, right breast mass. | ||
| GROSS DESCRIPTION | ||
| The specimen consists of one partial mastectomy with a 4.0 × 3.2 cm skin ellipse. The entire specimen measures 6.0 × 5.0 × 3.0 cm and weighs 36 grams. The skin surface is unremarkable. Serially sections through the specimen reveals a 1.9 × 1.7 cm well circumscribed tumor nodule that is 0.3 cm underneath the skin and 0.3 cm from the superior margin. The cut surface of the tumor is gray-pink and gelatinous. | ||
