| 50-year-old female, history of hypercalcemia, radioscan revealed uptake with the right inferior pole of the thyroid. Resection or right inferior parathyroid. | ||
| GROSS DESCRIPTION | ||
| The specimen consists of one pink-red encapsulated nodule measuring 2.0 × 1.0 × 0.6 cm and weighs 0.99 grams. The specimen is bisected and reveals a homogeneously pink and red soft cut surface. | ||
