| 59-year-old female, post-menopause bleeding. | ||
| GROSS DESCRIPTION | ||
| The 236 grams hysterectomy specimen measures 9.5 x 8.5 x 5.5 cm with a smooth unremarkable serosal surface. Upon bivalving the specimen, the entire uterine cavity is filled with solid pale-pink or pale-yellow tumor mass measuring 6.0 x 4.0 cm. The tumor is rather well-circumscribed with focal deep invasion into the myometrium. Grossly the tumor is 0.7 cm from the closest left lateral margin and 1.3 cm from the internal os. The endocervical canal measures 3.5 cm in length with an unremarkable gross appearance. | ||
