CLINICAL INFORMATION

  48-year-old male, right testicular mass.

GROSS DESCRIPTION

 

The 413 grams testicle specimen (14.0 7.5 7.5 cm)  has a smooth, maroon and tan external surface with an unremarkable 5.0 1.5 spermatic cord. The specimen is bisected revealing a 8.0 7.0 7.0 cm light yellow and tan fleshy mass with multiple cysts and extensive necrosis. The largest cyst measures 2.0 1.5 1.0 cm. The tumor does not grossly extend into the tunica albuginea or epididymis. The remainder of the testicular parenchyma is red-tan.
