CLINICAL INFORMATION

  25-year-old female, right distal femoral tumor.

GROSS DESCRIPTION

  The distal femur and attached yellow-gray connective tissue measure 18.0 6.5 8.0 cm. The specimen is bisected along its long axis revealing a spongy hemorrhagic intramedullary mass in distal end of femur measuring 9.0 4.0 4.0 cm. The mass extends through the cortical bone along posterior aspect of femur and appears to invade adjacent soft tissue.
