The distal femur and attached yellow-gray connective tissue measure 18.0 × 6.5 × 8.0 cm. The specimen is bisected along its long axis revealing a spongy hemorrhagic intramedullary mass in distal end of femur measuring 9.0 × 4.0 × 4.0 cm.
