CLINICAL INFORMATION

  63-year-old male, a solitary 1.2 cm subpleural mass was noted during clinical workup. The patient was otherwise healthy and free of significant clinical history.

GROSS DESCRIPTION

 

A 1.2 cm white-tan mass was grossly seen 1.5 cm underneath the pleura. The surrounding parenchyma and the hilar lymph nodes were grossly unremarkable.
