| CLINICAL INFORMATION | ||
| A 45-year-old female, right abdominal pain and flank pain. A CT scan showed a 6.0 cm mass in the right adrenal gland with areas of low intensity. A right adrenalectomy was performed. | ||
| GROSS DESCRIPTION | ||
| The round mass measures 5.5 x 5.0 x 4.5 cm and weighs 95 grams with nodular external surface intersected by thick fibrous bands. Cut surface of the tumor reveals a variegated appearance with small areas showing cystic degeneration with a mucinous content. | ||
