| A 45 years old male presented with symptoms of acute appendicitis. A pre-operation CT scan revealed an incidental 4.0 × 2.0 cm perigastric mass. The mass was resected during appendectomy. | ||
| GROSS DESCRIPTION | ||
| The specimen consists of a red and black soft tissue, measuring 4.0 x 2.0 cm. Sectioning through the specimen reveals tan and dark brown smooth areas. | ||
