Focal Superficial Squamous Cell Carcinoma Arising from a Vocal Cord Polyp

The majority of the specimen shows typical features of vocal cord polyp with unremarkable squmous mucosa and myxoid stroma. A small focus of squamous atypia with superficial invasion is present.
