| CLINICAL INFORMATION | ||
| 54 years old male, worsening dysphagia for several months. No other significant symptoms or history. Image studies reviewed a mass lesion surrounding gastroesophageal junction. During surgery, a well-demarcated intramuscular soft tissue mass was resected. | ||
| GROSS DESCRIPTION | ||
| The encapsulated soft tissue mass measures 4.0 × 3.5 × 3.5 cm, and the section surface is lobulated and solid with gray-tan and pale-yellow appearance. | ||

| Microscopically, the tumor shows typical features of a benign leiomyoma with SMA+, CD117- and S100-. | ||
