| CLINICAL INFORMATION | ||
| A 44 years old female was incidentally found to have a large abdominal mass during a clinical image study for other indication. The mass appeared superior to the left kidney. The mass was resected. | ||
| GROSS DESCRIPTION | ||
| The specimen consists of a well encapsulated mass measuring 18 × 17 × 14 cm. The left adrenal gland is noted on one side that is incorporated with the mass. The cut surface of the mass reveals a mixture of pale-yellow soft tissue and red and dark red hemorrhage and necrosis. | ||

| MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION | ||
| Microscopically, multiple sections of the lesion from different areas reveal mature adipose tissue and trilineage myeloid cells at various development stage. | ||
