Surgical Pathology Case

 

CLINICAL INFORMATION

  A 54 years old female had a history of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor with metastatic to the liver. By imaging studies, the lesion was approximately 7 cm in the liver. A left hepatic trisegmentectomy was performed.

GROSS DESCRIPTION

 

Grossly there is a 2.0 cm well define tumor in the liver with prominent surrounding steatosis that measures 7.0cm in greatest dimension.
