Gastric Fundic Gland Polyp

  • Locations: gastric fundus and body

  • Association with PPI or FAP, not autoimmune, H. pylori or malignancy

  • HE:

    • Cystically dilated fundic glands

    • Lining: attenuated parietal cells, chief cells, mucous neck cells

    • Surface foveolar epithelium free of dysplasia

  •  FAP: multiple, young age, often dysplasia
